Customers’ Relation and Research Directorate serves as a bridge between the public and the Agency and take the initiative to ensure that the ENALA’S customer service meets its customer’s needs that is, avail appropriate and efficient service.

Reference and Legal Deposit
Under this Directorate there are different sections which are providing different services such as Circulation section, Documentation Section, HIV/ADIS and Gender section, Internet and E-mail Section, Legal deposit Section, Periodical and News letter Section, Brail section and Children library Sections.
Archives and Ethiopian Study
The main service of this directorate delivering services on archives which are collected and organized form different governmental offices, and the library delivering services in Ethiopian collections which are printed books and manuscripts. Under the directorate there are five service sections such as Archives section, Manuscript section, Ethiopian study section, Ethiopian language section and Microfilm library section.
